Cordial invitation to the new event format “Salon Privé”. This meeting of Dames from all commanderies and countries will take place for the first time on the 2nd of September 2022 in Vienna.
The new format is intended to open the possibility of exchange on the relevant topics of the Dames of the Order and to promote better getting to know each other. In addition, it can be combined with a cultural and historical accompanying program, in which the cozy togetherness will not be neglected.
I am particularly pleased that our Protectress will participate in the event. In addition, it underlines the importance of the Dames that our Grand Master Archduke Karl has also promised his coming. Detailed information about the program will follow later this month, but please save the date now.
By the way, our salon will take place at least twice a year in the future, each at a different commandery. It is particularly important to me that we, as Dames of the Order of St. George, work to be represented in every country in future in which we maintain commanderies. This development will make the European dimension of the Order of St. George even more tangible and conscious for us Dames.
Within this event, there will also be the opportunity to exchange the previous distinctions for new ones, which were presented at the Order’s convent in Prague. Dames will receive a redesigned imperial crown for the stitch and the order rosette has also been adapted to that of the Knights. Each Dame is also entitled to the booklet “The Order of St. George – An Overview”, which will also be available.
