Order convent in Budapest – „It needs the strength of Central Europe“

The Convention took place on Order Day, April 27, 2019, in Hungary at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In his address, Deputy Grand Master HIRH George of Habsburg described Bishop Klaus Küng’s sermon of the morning on the continuing importance of weakening Christianity in Europe as groundbreaking: “Our standard is today’s Mass.” The fading of Christianity on our continent, he said, was of particular concern to his brother, HIRH Karl von Habsburg (unable to attend this time due to illness), and to himself. “The danger of foreign cultures would be very small if we were consolidated in our own roots.” It was the task of the members of the Order to set a personal example here.
