Excerpt from the Chancellor´s letter on the passing away:
It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing of our Knight of the Commandry of Serbia, Primar Dr Nenad Lujic, who passed away far too soon on 3 February at the age of only 59.
Primar Dr Lujic was a well-known Serbian orthopaedic and oncology surgeon, as well as head of the general medicine department of the Belgrade Orthopaedic Hospital. Born in Belgrade in 1963, Nenad graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade in 1988, then practised as a trauma surgeon at Athens City Hospital in Greece and also tutored and gave keynote speeches for the Red Cross.
Our brother was accepted into the Order in Salzburg in October 2019 and was very active in our Serbian commandry. I was able to meet him myself in Belgrade just a few weeks ago.
My and our sincere condolences go to his family members and all his relatives.
