Excerpt from the Chancellor’s letter on the passing away:
I have the sad task to inform you of the passing of our esteemed Knight of the Order, Lubomir Roman, who passed away on March 13, 2022 at the age of 77.
Lubomir, who was admitted to our Order in Salzburg in 2019, was first a Knight of the Order of the Commandery of Lower Austria – St. George’s Cathedral and most recently part of the Delegation of Slovakia established in Hof Palace. In the Slovak Republic he held the office of Minister of Culture, a deputy to the National Council and was Regional President of the Bratislava Region.
