Opava (Troppau), the long-standing capital of Austrian Silesia, hosted the Commandery Tschechien of the Order of St. George for the first time on 19 and 20 January 2024.
On 9 January 2024, several Knights of the Order of St. George took part in the funeral mass for the Honorary Knight Hugo Graf von Mensdorff-Pouilly, who died on 21 November 2023.
On 28 June 2023, the Commandery Tschechien invited to the Chateau Niměřice, for lectures around the annual theme “Security through unity” and the ceremonial admission of the chateau to the Via Habsburg.
On Sunday, 19 March 2023 in the old Czech pilgrimage site Nepomuk, took place pilgrimage Holy Mass in the church of St. John of Nepomuk.
The Commanderies organised the first relief supplies transports and fundraising with great personal commitment.
On December 16, 2021, Czech commander Dr. Milan Novák presented in Kaiserstein Palace in Prague a new book: Karl I. – Saint and the last king in Bohemia.
On October 13, 2021, the Czech Commandery organized a meeting in Brno, at which our Grand Master was also among the guests.
On July 21, 2021 the Czech Commandry hosted an event in the dignified setting of Chateau Nimerice, which is located 30 minutes outside of Prague. High-ranking guests dealt with the topic of the evening – the future of Europe -, analysed opportunities and risks and discussed necessary course setting.
On March 13, 2021, an online matinee was organized from the Czech Commandry.
