On November 28, 2019, Antonella Malis’ charity concert “The Christmas Tale of Antonella Malis – With the voice to the heart” took place in the premises of the Croatian Music Association in Zagreb for the benefit of laryngectomized patients of the Laryngectomized Association. A special highlight of the evening was the male choir “The Optimists”, consisting of laryngectomized patients, under the direction of Tamara Živković, speech therapist at the KBC Rebro University Hospital.
This initiative was supported by the ladies together with the knights of the Order of St. George from the Commandery of Styria / Carinthia with a donation totaling 1,000 euros. “The Association of Laryngeal Motorists is doing great and committed work that we are happy to support. We are happy to be able to make a small contribution with our donation ”, said the general secretary of the ladies, Mirjana Bosanac.
Guests of the evening were prominent guests from politics, culture, medicine and sport – such as the personal advisor to the Croatian President, Dr. Mate Granic. On the part of the Order of St. George were present the Commander of the Commandery Hungary, Gabor von Boldizsàr Ujfakusy, the General Secretary of the Ladies, Mirjana Bosanac, the Vice Commander of the Commandery Croatia-Zagreb, Dr. Nenad Bosanac and the Knight of the Order of the Commandery of Styria / Carinthia, Peter Harb.
