On November 14, 2021, the Austrian Cavalry Association was a guest at the residence of the Order of St. George in Vienna and hold its autumn conference there. The theme of the conference was the “Pan-European Movement”, presented by its Secretary General Rainhard Kloucek.
On October 21, 2021, Knight of the Order Dr. Kambis Atefie presented a new art and culture publication in the old Austrian spirit at a Commandery meeting of Wien-Hofburg.
The evening of October 13, 2021, was all about “Of Peace Furies and Dalmatian Coastal Roes” as this is the (translated) title of the equally interesting and enjoyable book by historian Dr. Tamara Scheer.
On September 1, 2021, HIRH Ferdinand von Habsburg and procurator Baron Vinzenz von Stimpfl-Abele met for a conversation in the order’s residence, to which the archduke had also brought the impressive trophy of the legendary Le Mans 24-hour race, which he won this year.
On July 21, 2021 the Czech Commandry hosted an event in the dignified setting of Chateau Nimerice, which is located 30 minutes outside of Prague. High-ranking guests dealt with the topic of the evening – the future of Europe -, analysed opportunities and risks and discussed necessary course setting.

The Grand Master of the Order of St. George HIRH Karl Habsburg-Lorraine visited the city of Wels on 20 March to open the special exhibition “Maximilian I. Emperor – Reformer – Human Being” in the Castle’s City Museum and the redesigned Sisi Pavilion in the Lichtenegg Castle Park.
In the year 2020 the Order will “focus on the concept of freedom”, underlined our Grand Master HIRH Karl von Habsburg at the beginning of the open chapter meeting in the Knights’ Hall of the Residenz in Salzburg.
Despite all the successes of the European Union, the union of states has not come out of its permanent crisis since 2008. All participants in the discussion “Europe – quo vadis?”, which took place in Salzburg on the eve of the Day of the Order, agreed on this.
At the height of the election campaign for the National Council elections in Austria, the Order of St. George invited to the Palais Wertheim on September 23, 2019 to a panel discussionin in which high-profile representatives of five parties participated.

This year’s Georgs-Seminar, organized in cooperation with the Institute for Religion and Peace and the Rectorate of St. George’s Cathedral, took place on April 24, 2019 under the sign of Emperor Maximilian I, whose 500th anniversary of death was celebrated this year on January 12.
On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Free Port of Trieste by Emperor Charles VI, on March 17, 2019 the Italian Commandery, under the proven leadership of Commander Dr Massimiliano Lacota, excellently organised a commemoration in Trieste.
The first meeting of the Hohensalzburg Commandery this year dealt with some important challenges of the Order. It was a longer information and work meeting on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Hotel Sacher in Salzburg.
On January 21, 2019 the Three-Wise-Men meeting of the Order of St. George took place again this year in the town hall in Korneuburg. More than 70 Dames and Knights of the St. George Order accepted the invitation of the Commandery Niederösterreich-Heldenberg in the festival hall of the city of Korneuburg.
The rush was enormous. Knights and Dames from near and far travelled to St. George’s Cathedral in Wiener Neustadt on January 12, 2019 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of Emperor Maximilian I on this Saturday afternoon.

The fact that the Order of St. George held its religious day in Zagreb almost exactly a hundred years to the day after the constitutional relations between Croatia and the Austro-Hungarian monarchy had ended, increased the symbolic power of the event enormously.
The “First Central European Security Conference” ended on May 15, 2018 in the beautiful rooms of the Grand Hotel – thanks to Horst Mayer, the director of the Grand Hotel and Knight of the Order of St. George.
