On September 17, 2020, S. E. Bishop em. DDR. Klaus Küng celebrates his 80th birthday. For this reason, a small delegation from the Order’s government gathered at the Order residence the evening before to congratulate on behalf of the Order of St. George. Chancellor Dr. Stefan Schermaier talked about the life and career of the chairman of the Spiritual Council, not least he reminded that this year, in addition to his birthday, the bishop also celebrates his 50th priest anniversary. Our procurator Baron Vinzenz von Stimpfl-Abele thanked him on behalf of the whole Order for the great personal commitment of the jubilee in the service and for the good of the order, especially underlining its importance as a spiritual guide.
n the spring of next year, the originally planned, but due to the corona situation unfortunately not feasible big reception for bishop Küng should be made up for.
